What do you get?
Local Food
Seasonal produce grown right here at the farm. Grown in a way that nourishes the local soil, benefits local wildlife and protects our local water ways.
Organic Food
We are certified organic by the Organic Trust. Whether it’s for the health benefits, concern for the environment or to avoid pesticides, you can rest assured that our produce is grown in the best possible way.
Connection
It’s not just about the produce. Our CSA gives you a connection to seasons, the land and to other members. We meet at the farm - we share recipes - we gather. Join us and get involved!
Economy
A brilliant way to support any small, organic farm is to sign up as a CSA member. By committing to the year, you enable us to commit to employ our grower to grow your veg..
Freshest Produce
Our vegetables are harvested hours before you collect your vegetables - we harvest what is best that week so your vegetables are always at their prime!
Organic Produce all year round
You will get weekly seasonal vegetables for 50 weeks of the year. In the hungry gap, we will supplement our veg with produce from local field-scale organic farms. That means, year-round basics like potatoes and onions - and seasonal eating, every week of the year.
Your food sorted for the year ahead
CSAs are brilliant. Brilliant for the members and brilliant for the growers.
Members share the rewards and responsibilities of growing food. It’s a truly sustainable business model where the loyalty and support of you, the members, allows us to grow food in the best possible way.
You’re not just buying our veg. You’re choosing to co-create a food community.

FAQs
-
Q1. When can I pick up my vegetables?
Your share of the weekly harvest will be available for pick up from Laurelbank Farm on Wednesdays, any time after midday.
(We have two weeks off each year. The last week of December and the first week of Janauary)
-
Q2. How do I sign up?
We are now open for new members. You can sign up here.
-
Q3. What happens if I go on holiday?
If you are on holiday, you are very welcome to send someone else to pick up your share of the produce that week (you can let us know to expect someone different if you want).
-
Q4. I just want to buy some vegetables. Is that possible?
Yes. Our farm shop (in the Cow Byre) is open every Saturday from 11am to 2pm with an honesty box payment (cash, card, paypal, apple pay etc).
You can also come to the farm shop on Wednesday afternoons to buy veg or top up your veg box with extras.
-
Q5. What about meeting other members and gathering at the farm?
There will be regular gatherings organised at the farm to connect you to the produce you’re eating, and the other members. These will vary from month to month - volunteer mornings, coffee mornings and farm & feast family gatherings. Some will be free but most will require some form of payment from attendees to cover costs.
If you want to organise a members’ gathering at the farm, please get in touch.
-
Q6. Can you deliver my vegetables?
Unfortunately delivery is not available at the moment. However, please join one of our collection groups when you sign up so you and your local members can take it in turns to collect from the farm.
-
Q7. Is everything in the veg box grown at Laurelbank Farm?
No. We buy some of the produce (field-scale veg like potatoes and onions) from Beechlawn Organic Farm. This allows us to provide weekly veg boxes all year round and to focus on the produce that we love to grow.
-
Q8. How do I cancel my membership?
We ask members to sign up for a year (after a 1-month trial to make sure it’s for them). However, we understand that circumstances change and sometime members need to leave us. To cancel just send us an email confirming with at least 1 month’s notice.
-
Q9. Are your vegetables really organic?
Yes. We completed our organic conversion period on 1 January 2023 so everything we now grow is officially, and proudly organic.
We are certified by the Organic Trust Ireland.
-
Q10. I love T&Cs. Where can I find yours?
You can read our CSA Terms and Conditions here.
